PROFESSIONAL
MOLD INSPECTIONS
Here at Status, we employ a multi factor approach to mold – which includes getting to know your home in detail, any symptom that you are facing, and your daily routine. Followed up with an initial collection of samples to complement our inspection, we are well on our way to determining if any problematic mold may be causing you problems within your home.
WE ARE MOLD EXPERTS
Mold is a serious indoor air issue that can have negative health effects – Respiratory issues, allergic reactions, aggravation of asthma in addition to many other symptoms that can be attributed to mold exposure.
The smell, The concern, The worry
We are here to find the source of the issue, and here at Status, we are an assessment only company – we do not provide remediation or repair – ensuring that you are not being sold repairs and remediation that you do not actually require.
Our goal is to understand your concerns, and then identify the source of the issue within the home – utilizing the latest in thermal imaging, air and swab and moisture detection technology.
We can then put a plan in place to present to a remediation company for resolution – then finally, we can come back to ensure that the work has been completed correctly.
Allow us here at Status Home Inspections to provide you with a professional mold inspection, indoor air sampling, physical sampling, and a detailed lab report to give you the information you need to make a good decision.
OUR MOLD INSPECTION AND TESTING SERVICES
STEP ONE - DISCUSSION
You will talk with our inspector to discuss all of the symptoms and concerns that you have within your home. You can provide photographs, videos and descriptions so that your inspector can get an in-depth knowledge of the issue.
STEP TWO - INSPECTION
Your inspector will attend your home for a complete inspection – focusing on looking for the source of the issue that you are facing. We ensure to go above and beyond during these inspections – hunting down the culprit. Rooms, Under Sinks, Bathrooms, Crawlspaces, Attic Spaces, Exterior, Roofing – all compiled in an easy to read report that highlights any concerns.
STEP THREE - SAMPLES
Immediately after the physical inspection, your inspector will proceed to place air sampling equipment in specific locations around the interior of the home. He may also take swabs or tape samples of surfaces of concern.
STEP FOUR - LAB ANALYSIS
We use the most advanced laboratories in US that utilize AI technology to analyze the samples that we send through. These labs provide detailed visuals and summaries that are collaborated with our physical inspection reports.
STEP FIVE - FINAL REPORTS
You will receive a complete report of our findings with certified lab analysis and interpretation.
We will talk over with you our findings, reports and analysis and discuss the next available steps in resolving the issue – including and up to developing a remediation plan for a licensed remediator to follow to resolve the issue. We’ll also be there when the remediator has finished to ensure the issue has been resolved.
THERMAL IMAGING – LEAVING NOTHING TO CHANCE
Our FLIR thermal imagers are an invaluable tool during our mold inspections – these tools lead us to areas of temperature differential and moisture that are otherwise invisible to the naked eye, and for the most part, would not be noticed.
